One of Italy’s most important gospel festivals, Umbria Gospel Festival, will take place from December 8, 2011 to January 1, 2012. Combining culture and tradition, spirituality and music, the theaters and churches of the charming, little, medieval Umbrian towns will be host to some of the greatest Afro-American singers of Gospel music announcing the arrival of Christmas with their deep and emotional songs. Preview in Paciano on December 8 and in Spoleto with the New York Spirit of Gospel on December 23. Then, from December 26 to January 1, all kinds of venues rich with atmosphere and emotion, such as the Inspirational Choir of Harlem in Gubbio on December 27 and the highlight of the festival with The Funk & Soul Night Explosion in Passignano on New Year’s Eve.
